"The paintings that I consider to be those of the first period were inspired by a mythical world with an association to music and the stage : "The Flying Dutchman", "Tristan and Isolde".

The works of the second period are more concerned with the impressions that are formed when listening to music itself. They are the pictorial representations of a more authentic form of communication with the being and with the universe. This exchange is established through the perception and the experience of sounds, rhythms, cadences, free from the preconceptions suggested by the content of musical work : “Sheherazade”.

The subtle relationship develops between music and the individual’s soul, which is inclined towards lofty aspirations Music becomes the mediator between the two spheres and what is more, it embodies perfection, beauty and harmony. It is an opening onto the Cosmos.”
